Hi~man! The application is great. I like its functionality especially that one which can recognize any form of a word and prompt a translation.
I hope you are going to improve it. Then I would enjoy to see the added timer. Also, I know that developing a statistic viewer can be time-consuming but if you decided to add it I would not mind to pay a couple of dollars for the improved version.
By the way why can’t I comment in Gmarket?
Thanks for the feedback my friend!
I hope someday i can expand the word translation functionality to other languages… I’ve tried to do that before but it was not satisfactory.
About the statistics, the version 2.0 shows your progress and how many points you have done for each test right on the exams list. I will try to improve the statistics also.
I am not sure why you cannot comment in Google market. My guess is: you are registered as if you are in Korea, so google dont allow you to make comments due to the Korean law. The same for the Youtube, etc. Just guessing, because i also couldnt find how to do that.
BR,
Andre

Good luck on the TOPIK exam.

Hi Andre. Firstly, thanks for developing the app. Really useful!
Do you have any plans to keep it updated? E.g. The listening part of the tests is very buggy and doesnt work a lot of the time. The dictionary also doesnt parse some grammafied words. any rotation of the screen also makes you lose your place. I have other suggested improvements if Id be more than happy to share if you are planning to update.
Cheers
Hi Felix, thanks for the feedback.
I have plans to update the app, the problem is time. I have a todo list, and some of the problems you mentioned are in this list.
To be honest, i tried to solve the orientation change problem but i couldn’t get a good result… i will research again and find a solution. As soon I find more time i will try to improve the other issues you reported.
I will be glad if you share all your opinion here.
Thank you very much,
Andre
Hi Andre. Awesome to hear that you have plans to update. Im more than happy to help beta test if you need any help. On the orientation problem, a compromise solution may be to have an option to lock the screen so that it stays on whatever orientation you set it.This isnt perfect I guess but removes the annoyance of accidentally rotating and losing your place.
In addition to the orientation, listening bugs (maybe allow download of the files so its smoother) and the dictionary searches i mentioned above, heres my list of suggested things to do (in no particular order!):
- a function to save your place so next time you open the app it goes straight to the question you left off at
- a zoom ability (two fingers zoom or double tap) especially useful for the reading questions
- ability to tag a question so its easier to come back to it at a later stage. E.g. To revise it so that you can check you get it right the next time
Hope that useful. Have a nice day!
